PUBLISHED-Shel Silverstein Inspired Wedding Hair
We are thrilled to announce to our clients and fans that Jewel Hair Design’s work was published on national wedding blog Wedding Chicks a few weeks ago! Check out the published post here!!!
A few months ago I had the pleasure of collaborating with Abby Grace Photography and Capitol Romance blog to create a Shel Silverstien “Dreamer” Inspired wedding shoot. Of course my part in this shoot was to create 2 hair styles that would capture the theme perfectly, and that would go along with the hair pieces we had from Two Black Flats.
Here are the words that I was given to inspire my two hair styles:
{Dreamy-Cloudy-Puffy-Romantic-Soft-Artistic}
Hair Style Number 1 was a “down” style that was voluminous and romantic with plenty of puffy and soft curls.
Hair Style Number 2 was a up-do that was created to look “Cloudy” and messy yet soft and tousled.
Our model Alex had super long and healthy locks which was perfect to play around with. When I got to styling Alex’s hair I realized that her hair was actually TOO long to leave down and create the full puffy look…NO WORRIES…I didn’t whip out my cutting shears! I just simply tucked longer layers underneath to create the volume and shorten the style! See Alex and her Fiance in a before picture below also taken by Abby Grace! Enjoy these hair shots below as well as other shots from the shoot.
