Summer’s Extravagant and Romantic bridal updo with hanging tendrills!
Bride Summer wanted an extravagant and bridal glam look! WOO HOO! I love to do fun and different styles. I added a lot of clip in extensions on the day of the wedding to create this look for her and as well her mother. Her party was so fun to be around! I am so happy for you Summer! Congrats again! We are thrilled to announce to our clients and fans that Jewel Hair Design’s work was published on national wedding blog Wedding Chicks a few weeks ago! Check out the published post here!!! A few months ago I had the pleasure of collaborating with Abby Grace Photography and Capitol Romance blog to create a Shel Silverstien “Dreamer” Inspired wedding shoot. Of course my part in this shoot was to create 2 hair styles that would capture the theme perfectly, and that would go along with the hair pieces we had from Two Black Flats. Bride Michelle was referred to us by her bridesmaid Lydia who we had the pleasure of working with last year on her wedding day. Michelle wanted to look bridal and elegant, and she loved curls. I came up with a romantic and elegant up-do just for her. With some volume at the top of her crown adding a large flower to her up-do was the perfect choice to balance the look. Bride Rebekah originally tried to do a clean and not curly up-do at her trial to see what it would look like, but later she felt like she would not feel the same without having curls. Her hair was down to her lower- mid back so it was awesome that we could really do anything with-out extensions. Below you will see what we did for her trial, and then you can see the change we came up with on the wedding day with no second trial. We did hair for the bride and 3 bridesmaids!
